Hi Aparna,
Document translation is highly relevant in the modern-day-and-age, and an ideal opportunity for the many people.
I am familiar with product usage guides and the fact that they supply written instructions in a wide variety of languages, but I’d never actually considered many of the other formats you have described here.
It makes perfect sense that a vast array of dicuments will need some form of translation, as the internet has billions of users from every corner of the globe.
I also think that registering with an online company, such as Translatorscafe.com is a fantastic way to get into this line of work, as I’m sure many people have the necessary skills for document translation, but typically have no idea where or how to get started.
I would hazard a guess that the rates of pay differ depending on the type of work you undertake, although it seems that there is a great opportunity with even the simplest forms of translation.
A fantastic guide you’ve supplied here Aparna, and I’m sure many of your readers will benefit from this.
Thanks
Partha

This website is so relevant to the times that we are living in. It talks about working from home which has now become popular due to Covid19. It also introduces to me a new concept that I did not know about – document translation. Your website is very educational and more importantly, it shows how easy it is to get started on your own as a document translator.
I believe that this topic is very important and many people will visit and revisit it especially if they are laid off from their regular work.
